5. Data Storage and Security
We store your data on secure servers and use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits, to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

MarketPsych is a global organization and your data may be stored or processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA) to countries that have not received an adequacy determination from the European Commission, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data remains protected.

9. Your Account Credentials
Your access to the MarketPsych platform is protected by a username and password that we assign to you. Do not share your credentials with anyone. MarketPsych will never ask you for your password via unsolicited phone calls or emails. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access resulting from credentials that have been shared or inadequately protected.
10. Your Data Protection Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
  • The right to access -- You may request copies of the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to rectification -- You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • The right to erasure -- You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to applicable legal requirements.
  • The right to restrict processing -- You may request that we limit how we use your personal data.
  • The right to object to processing -- You may object to our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • The right to data portability -- You may request that we transfer your data to another organization, or directly to you, where technically feasible.
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
11. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information. For more information, please see our California Privacy Notice, available on our website.
12. MarketPsych MCP Connector (Use with Claude and Other AI Assistants)
MarketPsych operates a Model Context Protocol ("MCP") server at https://mcp.marketpsych.com/v1 (the "Connector") that allows AI assistants such as Anthropic's Claude to run MarketPsych data queries on your behalf. This Section describes the limited personal information the Connector processes and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy, which continues to apply. Your rights to access and use MarketPsych data through the Connector are governed by your subscription or data license agreement, not by this policy.
Authentication
The Connector has no user-account system of its own. When you connect it to an AI assistant, you sign in with your MarketPsych username and password at our authorization server (auth.marketpsych.com), which issues an access token that the Connector resolves to your account's API key. The Connector receives and processes only that token and API key -- it never receives or stores your password. Your login credentials are handled by our authorization server in accordance with the other sections of this Privacy Policy.
Information the Connector Processes
The Connector processes only the following in connection with your use:
  • API key and access token -- your credential, used to identify your account and determine your data entitlements. The API key is the only identifier we associate with your Connector activity.
  • Query content -- the parameters your AI assistant sends with each request, such as asset or entity identifiers, date ranges, search and keyphrase expressions, filters, and document or sentence identifiers.
  • Technical metadata -- client name and version, MCP protocol version, user-agent string, request timing, response size, a short session identifier, and, at the infrastructure layer, your IP address and requested URLs.
  • Query results -- licensed market data and analytics scores. Results are the same for all entitled customers and contain no personal information about you.
The Connector receives only the query parameters your AI assistant sends for each individual request. It does not access, request, collect, or store your conversations with the AI assistant, your chat history, the assistant's memory, or files you have uploaded to the assistant. The Connector does not collect name, profile, or payment information and does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
How We Use This Information
We use the information described above to authenticate you and determine your entitlements; to execute your queries and return results; to generate temporary result links when you request them; to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Connector; and to support billing, accounting, and record-keeping. In aggregated or de-identified form only, and always subject to the confidentiality commitments below, we may also use query activity for internal analytics and to develop and improve our data-processing and analytics models. We do not use Connector data for advertising.
Confidentiality of Your Queries
We treat your query content as confidential. We do not use knowledge of your queries to trade for our own account, to inform anyone else's trading, or in any manner that would breach confidentiality obligations or securities laws, and we do not disclose it except as required by law or as permitted by contract. Where a separate agreement between you (or your firm) and MarketPsych -- such as an NDA, license, or master services agreement -- imposes stricter confidentiality obligations, that agreement controls over this Section.
Retention
The Connector is designed to hold data transiently:
  • Entitlement cache -- your entitlements are cached against your API key for less than 24 hours.
  • Result links -- if you ask the Connector to generate a shareable result link, the underlying query and the minting API key are stored for the life of the link (by default, one hour) and then deleted. Because the link encodes your query, treat result links as private URLs.
  • Request records -- for each request we log the tool name, query parameters, an 8-character API-key prefix, user-agent, session identifier, and timing, and our infrastructure layer logs your IP address and requested URLs. We retain these records only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above -- including security, billing, accounting, analytics, and legal record-keeping -- and in accordance with Section 6 (Data Retention) of this policy.
Request records are not deleted automatically. To request deletion of records associated with your account, contact us at [email protected], and we will action valid requests in accordance with applicable law and Section 10 of this policy.
Disclosure
To fulfil your requests, the Connector forwards your API key and query content to other MarketPsych-operated services, including dataapi.marketpsych.com, api.marketpsych.com, auth.marketpsych.com, and files.marketpsychdata.com. All of these are operated by MarketPsych, and the disclosure principles in Section 4 of this policy apply. We do not provide Connector data to any non-MarketPsych third party in any form -- whether for sale, free of charge, or in exchange for other value -- and the Connector uses no external analytics, advertising, or logging providers.

Please note that the AI assistant you use (for example, Claude, operated by Anthropic) transmits your prompts and queries to the Connector and receives the results. Your AI assistant processes that information under its own privacy policy, which we do not control and encourage you to review.
Security and Your Rights
Connector traffic is protected in transit with HTTPS, and data services are restricted to authenticated, entitled callers. Please keep your API key confidential and safeguard any result links you generate. The data protection rights described in Section 10 of this policy apply equally to personal information processed by the Connector; to exercise them, contact us at [email protected].

The Connector is a business service designed for institutional and professional use and, consistent with Section 7, is not directed at individuals under the age of 16.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
MarketPsych reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised policy on our website and update the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
